My TEFL / TESOL Level 5 Certification and IELTS Training
I am TEFL and TESOL qualified with 198 hours + 30 hours practical class time with Level 5 certification. This is the most detailed course offered by TEFL Org UK and means I have reached the highest standards to teach the four skills – listening, reading, speaking, and writing. The course is continually assessed and all assignments are also verified by an external examiner.
TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) is most often used by people who want to teach the English language abroad. It can be any country where English is not the first language.
What does Level 5 certification mean? The course is regulated and approved by Ofqual (The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulations) and it’s the equivalent of gaining a diploma of higher education or CELTA. To reach Level 5 certification all my assignments in the TEFL course have to marked by an external examiner.
I am also an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) coach (30 hours, Premier TEFL)
You will also find TESOL (Teaching English to Speaker of Other Languages). This is mainly used for teaching the English language to people who are already in an English speaking country.
